Wisconsin Interoperable System for Communications (WISCOM)

This is Wisconsins's statewide radio system that will provide interoperable communications for first responders across the state. In addition, the system is open to counties and municipalities who want use WISCOM for their daily radio communications. Some of this information was obtained from Radioreference.

So far, six counties (Douglas, Iowa, Juneau, Kewaunee, Sawyer, Taylor) are at least partially using the system for their daily operations. The cities of Fond Du Lac and Greenfield public safety are also using the system for daily operations.

There are several independant P25 Trunked Radio Systems in Wisconsin that are planned or already operational that are/will be interoperable with WISCOM.

Each County has a "COUNTY SCAN" (xxx10), "COUNTY COMMON" (xxx11) and a "COUNTY TRAVEL" (xxx12) talkgroup assigned to them.
